Exhibiting at The Convent

The Convent Gallery, Daylesford, is launching its ‘Callout for Artists - 2012’.

With the new year rapidly approaching, the Gallery is bedding down its exhibition scheduling for 2012 and is keen to hear from artists who would like to present their creative works in the wonderful spaces of the Convent Gallery.

With a variety of spaces to work with, high ceilings, an abundance of natural light, Baltic pine flooring and a professional curatorial team on site, artists are encouraged to submit proposals for the display and presentation of their art to the Convent Gallery’s frequent and regular visitors. Having earned a reputation as a significant Australian gallery exhibiting both contemporary and traditional art, and catering to a broad clientele of art interested patrons, collectors, and international and interstate visitors to Daylesford, the gallery provides the perfect platform for a professional presentation of artwork.

The exhibition policy of the gallery is an inclusive one, presenting the work of both established and emerging artists. The curatorial committee is interested in showing a diverse range of art, from all media and styles, not limited by geographical, historical or stylistic boundaries. The Convent Gallery is open to a variety of exhibition possibilities, within the limitations of the space and nature of the building and site, and welcomes proposals and ideas that explore new approaches.

Offering exhibition lengths of 6 – 8 weeks, the Convent Gallery provides a valuable opportunity to build your reputation, enhance your exposure and broaden your reach.
