Described as ‘the most beautiful gallery in Australia’, the Convent Gallery presents local, national and international artists working in a variety of media and styles. With more than eight exhibition spaces throughout the building the gallery offers visitors and collectors a truly diverse range of art.

Established in 1991, The Convent is a major regional gallery situated in Daylesford, Victoria. With a reputation as a significant Australian gallery exhibiting both contemporary and traditional artwork, the Convent also is a multi-award winning tourism venue.  

The Convent Exhibition Policy is an inclusive one, with a focus on representing the work of both established and emerging artists. Our mandate is to present a diverse range of work, in various media and styles, to a broad clientele, from the discerning art collector to the international and interstate tourist. There are no geographical, historical or stylistic boundaries. The Gallery is always interested in profiling the work of local, national and international artists from all backgrounds.

ARTIST EXHIBITION CALLOUT - CALENDAR 2012:

The Convent Gallery, Daylesford, is launching its ‘Callout for Artists - 2012’. With the new year rapidly approaching, the Gallery is bedding down its exhibition scheduling for 2012 and is keen to hear from artists who would like to present their creative works in the wonderful spaces of the Convent Gallery.
